1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. License Types and Usage Rights

2.1 License Restrictions

• Each license is for one individual user on one Windows device
• You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or lease the software
• You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• You may not use the software for any unlawful purpose

2.2 Lifetime License

• "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the current major version of Plex PDF
• Includes bug fixes and minor updates at no additional cost
• Major version upgrades (e.g., v2.x → v3.x) may require a separate purchase, at our discretion

2.3 Yearly Subscription

• Automatically renews each year unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You will receive a renewal reminder email 7 days before your card is charged
• To cancel, contact us at support@wenxstudio.com or manage through your account page

3. Payment Terms

• All prices are in United States Dollars (USD)
• Payment is processed securely through Lemon Squeezy
• We do not store your full payment card details on our servers

4. Refund Policy

To request a refund, email support@wenxstudio.com with your order number and reason. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.

5. Intellectual Property

• Plex PDF, its name, logo, design, and source code are the exclusive intellectual property of Wenx Studio LTD.
• These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software; they do not transfer ownership
• User-generated content created using Plex PDF (edited PDFs, converted files) remains your property

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Plex PDF to process illegal, infringing, or malicious content
• Attempt to bypass license restrictions, copy protection, or security features
• Use the software to create, distribute, or facilitate malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers

We reserve the right to terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any errors will be corrected.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Wenx Studio LTD. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 USD if you use the Free plan.

You agree to indemnify and hold Wenx Studio LTD. and its affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the software and delete all copies.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Vancouver, British Columbia.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via notice on the website and within the Plex PDF application. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
